Finally I have finished all the My First Christmas Hearts. It's not easy when you have a little one and a toddler ;-)

I'm stitching on a hooded towel at the moment. I have won this from the craftbubble last year, thinking I'll probably be stitching this for the grandkids should I be lucky enough to have some in the future but along came Tobias. Well Icouldn't stitch on the crown as it is rather girly. So I have decided on a Valerie Pfeiffer Sparrow. I call T. Spatz which means Sparrow. I might get it ready some time. :-D

On FB I have signed up for a Round Robin with 9 other girls. I'm a bit worried because it is such a big group. I haven't even decided on a theme. I'll keep you posted.

My First Christmas

Here it is Jan's Christmas heart. I have finished Harry's too. Now I'll better do Tobias' too. I find it really difficult to stitch these little hearts. Chross Stitch is done really fast but making up takes ages. I still have to make up two Christmas Stockings and stitch two for the other two.

Finally something stitched again!

Hi everyone!

Well, I don't know if anyone actually still looks because I haven't put any stitched pictures on here for ages! That doesn't mean I haven't stitched because I have. But you know there isn't much time to do anything too big. That's why have stitched three of these lovely hangers. One for Tobias, one for baby Harry at No. 32 and one for baby Jan all the way in Germany. I still have to get round to making heartshaped hangers out of it. Maybe Tobias will have a nap tomorrow lunch time??? It's anyones guess. He likes his cuddles too much. The stork is going to be a thank you card for the diabetes team at Stepping Hill Hospital. They have been amazing when I was pregnant.

And there is the little Humphrey I have finished ages ago but forgot to put on here. Isn't here adorable?

Monday, 25 October 2010

We are really busy these days with the little man and his trapped wind. I have managed to stitch about 6 rows for his Christening blanket. It'll be ready for his 18th birthday at this rate ;-)

I have entered Mario in the Next baby competition. It would be really nice if you could vote for him. You don't need to be on Facebook for that (that's at least what it said). Here is the link: http://apps.facebook.com/baby_modelcomp/entry/178185

Thursday, 23 September 2010

Introducing: Tobias Patrick born on Tuesday, 21st September at 4.07 am weighing 6lbs 11 oz (3030 grams) and 48 cm long.
Our heartfelt thanks goes to the midwives Gemma and Nicky and my wonderful Doula Michelle Every and also to our Charlotte for giving me the necklace and protection of Our Lady St Mary. It was a wonderful birth. Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ for allowing us to make our family complete!

Friday, 27 August 2010

Yes, you have seen right. Two updates in one day! But I really wanted to show you the latest scan picture of Tobias (yes, it is a boy). Doesn't he look handsome already? We have been told that he will be here by the 28th September because of my troubles. I'm really looking forward to meet him and can't wait to have my first cuddle with him!

A few weeks I have won a RAK from Gaynor at http://stitchersanon.blogspot.com/ . She has made this amazing quilt for our new baby. It looks even better in "real"! I'm sorry to only post this today. Don't know why. But I'm going to blame the pregnancy forgetfulness. LOL
I have stitched a Humphrey's Corner kit (Jelly Baby). I'll upload a picture very shortly. Well if I don't forget.

Well, I try one more time: Here is the finished birth sampler. Now it's just waiting for a little girl to be born ;-)

Saturday, 26 June 2010

Well, this sampler is coming along slowly. I wanted to finish it before I'll start stitching ANYTHING for our baby but I think I'll better start knitting a cardigan and hat for him. Otherwise he'll be cold.
I would say it is a bit hot to craft at the moment. I'm really worried the sampler gets stained from sweaty hands.
Charlotte is having a new intake day at St James soon. She is really excited. It'll be her very first time all alone on the bus. I think she'll manage though.
It isn't long now and we'll be finshed at St George's Primary. It'll be strange at first I'm sure but there are some people there which I will not miss at all. ;-)

Tuesday, 25 May 2010

Now the day has come and been. Maisie's First Holy Communion. It was a beautiful day. We are very proud of her. She did really well. Maisie and three other girls took their first communion during the International mass during Pentecost. So it was a lovely but really long mass.

Something stitchy for a change. I have stitched this Eeyore for one of my stitching friends. She is expecting her baby any minute now!

Saturday, 15 May 2010

I thought I'll better show you my bump and my new hair cut. Well, unfortunatly my hair has gone wild again. But it did look nice for one day!

Here is a picture of the little person growing happily in my ever increasing bumb. We know what it is but would like to keep it secret from some family members for now.

Isn't it always the way when some people know the sex that they want to know the chosen name which they'll find something to complain about. You know the type: "All Ottos are stupid", "Enrico is a name for a chav" or "I went to school with an Conny and she was fat." and "All Anke's are bossy" Well, we have picked a name which we all love and it suits this baby very well.

We've had a very sad Easter. Maisie's guinea person, little Rosettie died on Easter Saturday. We are very sad and Toffee guinea pig is feeling very lonely now.

Wednesday, 31 March 2010

Only a very short but really happy message for today: I got a phone call from the town hall this morning. Charlotte did get her first choice High School! No need for the appeal! She'll be so happy!

Tuesday, 23 March 2010

Hi,

I haven't got a clue if this works: Here is a great give away which one of my stitching friends is hosting :-) http://stitchersanon.blogspot.com/2010/03/oooooops-and-rak-giveaway.html Good luck!

Here it is the first scan picture of our little one. Baby is sucking its liittle thumb...

Friday, 19 February 2010

Well, I thought I'd make it official: Yes we are expecting our fourth child in September. Four kids won't be any more difficult than three because the three I already have are wonderful. I would guess that, until this all day morning sickness is gone, this blog will be a pregnancy one rather than a stitching one. But bare with me. I will be back. I have already a few things waiting to be stitched. Next week I am going to visit Mary my lovely midwife for the first time this time round. She seems to be very busy. There are 16 expecting mums before week 12 in my surgery alone! Mario is going to have another bloodtest on Friday next week. We still haven't heard from Physio which is getting silly.
Now back to hugging the loo. LOL

Monday, 8 February 2010

Well, I don't seem to be able to concentrate on anything at the moment. I just feel really queasy.

Maisie is ill yet again. It seems to be happening every other week. This time she has an eye infection. Poor girl looks like she has been in a fight.

I'm trying to finish Maisie's Winnie the Pooh cushion. I don't know. Normally it would have been finished within three days.

Kath is waiting very patiently for her Winter exchange. Fortunatly it is stitched but I don't seem to be able to put it together. Again the concentration. It's as if I can't think in a straight line. I wish I'd dare to make a pinkeep out of it but I don't want to spoil it.

Hopefully I'll be able to put in picture of both items all finished up soon. I'm sooooo pleased that I have finished all the stitching on the WWRR!

Monday, 1 February 2010

Hi everyone!

I have been very busy this morning (even though I'm full with a cold) and I have finished the last piece of the WWRR. I really can't believe it. It was so much fun stitching all these lovely things which I doubt I would have normally stitched.

The last two things were Pamela's little shoppe

and Alison's pink cow.

Mario really loved the cows. So I have had to stitch him a little ladybird one

Sunday, 31 January 2010

Now after I have finished Ali's cow for the wwrr I am fighting with Pamela's little shoppe. I can't believe it: only a few more stitches and then I'll have finished the wwrr. I don't think I'll be able to another one in the next couple of months. We have a lot going on at the moment.

Oh, yes I have worked out why I am not loosing any weight on the Wii Fit plus. But I'm going to have to keep you all guessing for a little longer. I'll still will do the excercise though. Last week I only managed one day because Maisie and Mario were ill. Now I'm down with it. Don't you just wish the Winter will be over soon?

Have a wonderful weekend. (It is nearly over though)

Friday, 22 January 2010

Here is my latest finish: another Humphrey's Corner design. This one is called Baby talk. I'll soon have enough to make something out of them :-D

Well, I'm doing okay on the Wii Fit. Don't seem to be loosing any weight but at least I'm not gaining any either.

I still have to finish off the little "Let it Snow" sampler. I was going to do a cushion... but I'm not too sure yet. Cushions are really the only thing I CAN do without being too worried about showing myself up. Well, I will let you know what I'll decide.

Friday, 15 January 2010

Here is a photo of the Christmas stocking. Now comes the hard bit: how to finish it without spoiling it....
Right then. I have finally finished stitching Maisie's Christmas stocking. I'll put in a picture when the battery of my camera charged :-)

It is awful here today. Our road and Beech Road is covered in black ice and it is raining. You can imagine how difficult it is to walk on this. But we did make it to school even though it took us best part of 45 minutes (normally 20 mins) I'm dreading picking up time if that stuff is still down then. Charlotte has her last maths tuition tonight. So Maisie, Mario and me will have to hang around there somewhere. Lets hope the cafe on the main road isn't too busy.

My next stitching project will "Baby Talk" from Humphrey's corner. It reminds me of when Mario has a little chat on his red toy telephone!

Wednesday, 6 January 2010

The girls had two more days off school because the boiler at school was broken. But school is going to be open tomorrow morning. I have no idea how to manage to push the pram through this frozen mess. But what doesn't kill us will make us stronger.

I'm doing really well on the Wii Fit. I managed at least 30 mins every day but tomorrow I don't think I'll be up to doing much. I'm going to the dentist for a filling. This tooth was hurting since March but I was too tight to go (or maybe too afraid?) Well tomorrow I'll have to go. Poor Mario will be bored but what can I do?
