I'd just like to wish you all a wonderful Christmas. I hope Santa will bring you what you have wished for. Have a GREAT time. I'm hoping for something crafty. But I haven't written a wish list.......

We have been baking Christmas biscuits yesterday. They have turned ou very nice. Shame you can't smell them there is red wine and cinnamon in them. YUMMY!

Sunday 13 December 2009

Gosh, this was fast but Erica's piece for the wwrr is already finished! Here it is. Isn't he cute? Maisie picked this bird from the charts.

Tuesday 8 December 2009

Well, my current WIP is Maisie's Christmas Stocking. It'll be ready for next year, I hope.

Thursday 26 November 2009

I have finished the Summer Chair. It is one part of a small rr between four friends from 3 continents.

Thursday 19 November 2009

I have chosen this speedway motorbike for Mel's round robin. Her theme is transport. I hope she'll like it

Thursday 22 October 2009

WWRR

I have stitched this for Fiona's WWRR. It's a Forever Friends Bear from the Cross Stitch Crazy Magazine. Her theme is Christmas

This is for my Round Robin. My theme is The Magic of Childhood. I can't wait to see what everybody is going to stitch on it.

Sunday 6 September 2009

Here is my stash from the Stitch and Craft Show. Well some of it.:o) Got some 3 inch pink aida band, Thomas the Tank engine kits, Humphrey, Newton and even more.

Friday 4 September 2009

We're off to the Stitch and Craft Show tomorrow! I'm really excited! Just hope the weather isn't going to be to bad because it's quite a walk from the station (if it#s raining). I'm going to take the whole family. Seem to remember that there is a picnic area where I can leave them with Ted if it gets to much for them. They want to come!

Tuesday 1 September 2009

I have finished my second Hummel ever! It was really lovely to stitch. A lot of tweeding but a pleasure! It is called "Sleepy Time" and the little boy just looks like Mario. Well a little bit.
I have nearly finished Hummel: "Sleepy time". Just a little backstitching to do. It is going to look great. Just like Mario when he is asleep.

Not sure what to start next: Humphrey's Corner "Happy Birthday Lottie", Forever Friends "Big Love", AOY "Big Ben" or that table runner? Don't know.

Friday 28 August 2009

I have won two ticket to the Stitch and Creative Crafts Show in Manchester next week. Yippeeeeh! I had entered a competition in the Stockport Express, our local paper!

Monday 24 August 2009

I have finished another little picture. But I can't put in the picture as it is going to be a pressie for Ted!

Please keep voting for Maisie as the new face of Kinder!http://www.faceofkinder.co.uk/view-gallery.aspx?page=65&cid=6227

Monday 3 August 2009

Here is my UFO the Christmas table runner. I'm stitching it at the moment. So I suppose it's a WIP now?

I got this mum kit of Ted and the kids for our wedding anniversary. It was a very fast finish.

Sunday 26 July 2009

Another sweet picture of my two youngest:

I finished the fairy. It is amazing how the picture came together when I added the backstitch. Well off to the Forever friends kit.

Friday 24 July 2009

Birthday Present

I have done a Margaret Sherry Cat for my very good friend Chris. She really loves it!
This chart was one of the more tricky ones I have ever done. There was some very strange stitches and tweeding. But it looks great.

Coasters

I have done a Thank you Coaster for our Lollypop Lady. She risks her life everytime because Davenport Road is so busy and some drivers just don't stop.

Tuesday 21 July 2009

Finally they are finished. Here are the leaving pressies for two teachers of the girls school.

Thursday 9 July 2009

Finished the first half of the Fairy. I think I'll need a little break from Humphrey after this. But it is really cute.

Saturday 4 July 2009

We've just been to Niamh Birthday Teddy Bear Picnic and had a great time.

Friday 3 July 2009

I have started stitching "Fairy" but it went all pearshaped as I made a silly mistake and had to unpick loads.

Charlotte is feeling unwell and Mario isn't too good either.

I have cut Maisie's hair. It looks okay, I suppose but at least it didn't cost anything.

Thursday 2 July 2009

Here is Humphrey No. 3. He just loves wearing his dad's shoes. Just like our Mario. I didn't add the writing underneath the picture. I think it will look better when I put them all together in the end.

Friday 26 June 2009

Here is my first ever Humphrey. Isn't he cute? I'm planning to make a quilt or wall hanging just with Humphrey pictures. I think it'll look great!

Here is Charlotte with the Welcome Band I have done. It was quite tricky but I really think it's worth it.
Well, here I am. Trying out my very own blog. Lets see how it goes.
